Property investors take note! CYPRUS has moved 12 places up in the Top of the Props index in March 2017 to become the sixth most sought after location by overseas property investors. The first quarter of 2017 has witnessed a more than 50% rise in enquiries related to property in Cyprus as compared to the last quarter of 2016. The country observed 3.03 % of enquiries, its highest share in last two years.

Foreign investors started showing interest towards the island’s property market in the end of 2016, with 22% increase in enquiries in the second half of the year. The percentage faltered at the very start of 2017, but now the investors are showing signs of returning in huge numbers.

Market experts observed that without the tax deadlines, the condition of the property market in Cyprus is certainly improving and bringing back the investors in greater number.

Mohammad Bilal, the Marketing Manager CTrustGlobal and spokesperson of CaribbeanTrust explained the rising interest in Cypriot property in relation with the Visa Scheme and Citizenship by Investment Scheme of Cyprus.
